The not-so-long and not-so-dark review!

Well, if you haven't gone to check it out yet, here's a good reason to go and visit the new redesign of FantasyBookSpot. It's quite colorful with beautiful artwork by Nicole Cardiff.

I believe my review of Douglas Adams' The Long Dark Tea-time of the Soul is the first review to be posted so far. Check it out!

Yay, I'm a winner!

The review is half done. Will be posted this weekend.

I haven't forgotten about it, but other books have fallen before it.

Hah, never! Too embarassing!

I'm one of the few folks who likes Adams' Dirk Gently books more than HHG. Gently is just a likable kinda guy. The sequence at the asylum was splendid.

I agree with your review, though, that the ending left me befuddled. Never did quite figure it out.

I did find Gently to be a fun character. I'm going to try and find the other book he's in.

But yeah, the ending just confused me. Maybe with a slower, second reading it'll become more clear, but I dunno.

Thanks for the comment, Doug!
